Fedora
So it's been a REALLY long time since the last post... I don't even know, I didn't look... but I think it's been like a month or so.
Yeah, so I'm downloading Fedora right now, I think my computer hates me for it; I decided to download all 5 cds at the same time... from different places, of course, but the internet is kind of slow for me right now.
Yesterday I picked up a new wireless mouse, a Microsoft something something Cobolt, it's damn sexy and the roller thing is smooth like a baby butt. I was looking for a wireless keyboard too, but they're all weird and ikky, so maybe i'll get one later. I'm looking for one of those shallow-keyed ones with the sexy styling... and maybe it lights up.
That's really all I have to say... uhh, this past weekend I had a party, it was pretty pimpin', but everyone keeps calling it an anti-ashley or something like that party, and that's soo not what I'm about. So, to answer EVERYONE's questions, it was merely a party. No statement of evil.
... so yeah, that party reminded me that I really need to hang out with DJ... err Dave more. He's underrated by other people. Blerg.

Chucky...
So, Colleen yelled at me because I don't post much anymore... but whatever. Tonight was fun, I went over to Colleen's house and hung out for a bit, I helped her burn a CD, then we went out... originally to Cinemark, but then we didn't get there early enough to watch a movie and get her back home in time, so we just ended up going to Steak 'n Shake, and sitting there for an hour. It was nice to talk to her, we've been really detached the whole summer... I've always been out of town. Too bad we didn't have time to get together for her to teach me how to read music and for me to give her voice lessons... :P Oh well.
Caveing this weekend, that should be fun... Leaving Friday morning, coming back Sunday night. Then, Matt's having a barbeque I think Monday night, if he ever gets it planned. Wednesday morning I leave again with the family to head up to Michigan Tech (UP) and take a small vacation slash move Matt in at school, it should be interesting. Drive back and get home Sunday night, I start school on Monday. Uggghhh. Oh well, at least I get to see all the people again... wooo.
I'm anxious to see my schedule... I hope I have classes with good people next year... Registration is this Monday (right when I get back from Caveing) and I'll get my schedule then. Bllllaaaahhhahghghghhh.
So that's about it for now.

So I just got back from summer camp, it was amazing. I'll explain more to anyone that asks eventually...
I got this in a forward today, pretty cooolllll:
The Red Planet is about to be spectacular! This month and next, Earth is
catching up with Mars in an encounter that will culminate in the closest
approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars
may come this close is in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on
Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has
not come this close to Earth in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as
long as 60,000 years before it happens again.
The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within
34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest
object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will
appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification.
Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye . Mars will be
easy to spot. At the beginning of August it will rise in the east at
10p.m. and reach its azimuth at about 3 a.m.
By the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at
nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12:30a.m. That's
pretty convenient to see something that no human being has seen in
recorded history. So, mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see
Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month.
